Ditto is a project I created for the artist group New Jeans, inspired by the original style of their album. To highlight their vibrant, youthful theme and connect with the lyrics, the products were divided into three series, featuring a color palette of bright pink, light blue, and teal to align with the group’s overall aesthetic. The designs incorporate abundant sparkle elements and dynamic gradient sand-textured backgrounds, blending a retro millennium vibe with modern trends, making the visuals more striking and energetic. This project focuses heavily on typography design and layout, using techniques like metallic effects, glossy finishes, and faux-3D styles.

The project is not just a rebranding of a concert and album—it is about how they are promoted, received, and reinterpreted. Ditto is NewJeans’ anthem for celebrating their first winter with fans, and at its core, the song serves as a metaphor for the relationship between idols and their audience. Through our redesigned product, we aim to extend the original work’s meaning and explore how musical creations are perceived and reinterpreted by their listeners.
